Art and science have at all times enriched each other. The field of the physics of the Universe undergoes a real revolution, from the mapping of the Universe 400.000 years after the Big Bang until the discovery of gravitational waves. We believe that not only artists can accompany this revolution, but even help scientists in this exploration at the boundaries of knowledge requiring sometimes to think outside of the box. This is why the Fund has always associated artists with its actions.
With the important support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, a major project is born: Universe 2.0. A team of artists and scientists collaborate to explore the gravitational Universe that the recent discovery of gravitational waves has just unveiled. Artist residencies, workshops and a final exhibition will punctuate the years 2017-2018. You can help us with this innovative experiment by supporting these various actions.
